Pros

I have worked for this company for 13 years and they are an excellent company to work for. Management listen to their employees, and they are people-meaning they understand life. They are extremely flexible on time off and even let me bring my kids into the office when they are sick or don't have school. The company puts their customers first in everything they do.

Cons

The only con that I can think of is their medical benefits are not the greatest (high deductibles) and the company paid portion still leaves the employee paying quite alot for mediocre healthcare.

Thank you for the feedback. We are ecstatic to hear your experience has been positive for such a long period of time. Regarding the insurance, we empathize with you. Please know that HR checks and rechecks competitive rates consistently and will continue to do so. We realize comprehensive coverage in our country is not cheap and the costs continue to rise. W e currently cover, on average, 75% - 78% of the total cost, doing all we can to keep the rates low. But again, we sincerely thank you for the feedback and we look forward to another 13 years (+!) with Ellison.

Pros

working at different customers daily provides a dynamic environment to use mechanical hydraulic and electrical knowledge as well as other technical skills

Cons

Company values sales engineers over service engineers. Pay discrepancy service engineers should be paid more if not equal. Salesmen have the clean jobs, service guys have to know a lot of technical/mechanical skills and often work in a lot of dirty hot surroundings of customers shops. YOU NEED TO GIVE MORE RESPECT TO SERVICE ESPECIALLY your EXPERIENCED, SKILLED SERVICE ENGINEERS your sales will go down if you cant service what you sell.
