      Site seeing and travel, independence

      Cons

      Never home it’s 100% travel but they tell you 40-50%. You’re only home on weekends and they take that time away also. Your responsibilities are to also do the jobs of project managers , procurement, design and sometimes engineering with no gratitude or bonuses. Per diem is below the way countries average. Managers/higher ups don’t appreciate the hard work and there is no chance for moving up within the company. They rather higher PM with no AV experience than to move up Leads.
