Pros

Organized and attentive employers. They have a good system for HR & payroll. Everything is done virtually and available online. Onboarding was quite seamless. Really good place to start your career or work if you don't plan on climbing the corporate ladder. I recommend this place for new college grads or current students. Your experience highly depends where you are placed (whether you are working at EOS direct or placed at a big company as a contingent/contracted worker). Good work/life balance. Work is never too busy and you'll have time for other things in your life.

Cons

Salary was non-negotiable when during the hiring process. Placement was for a well-known FAANG company. I found out through the grapevine (and saw it with my own eyes) that they are taking 100% of your salary. So they may only pay you 80k, but the FAANG company is paying them 160k. This is absolutely robbery and the fact they had NO wiggle room to negotiate during the hiring process makes it even more awful. Work is monotonous and repetitive. It leaves little to desire. There are a lot of new hires and high volume of turnover. Medical benefits are not fully paid by EOS. The medical benefits choices are terrible as well. No good perks at this company at all.

Pros

-Moderate level of independence -Loose environment

Cons

-Travel -Pay- Per diem is not a sufficient amount to support engineers who live on the road 70% of this job eating out of airports. Base salary seems nice at first until you realize how much time and energy gets put forth into the work. -Travel Team- The travel department can get quite lazy and disorganized which causes stress for engineers. Make it a habit to know exactly where your personel are so that you arent sending them to the other side of the country when you already have engineers there. Keep guys as close to home as possible. The contracts we sign state that we MAY have to travel UP TO two weeks and that weekend work MAY be necessary "On rare occasions" so cease the mentality that we are supposed to be willing to travel at all times. -You will likely have to learn the job on the fly as they make no effort to ensure you're prepared for the tasks thrown at you and often this will put more pressure on the senior engineers that now have to carry that weight. -Highly understaffed. Having the same 8-10 engineers on the biggest contracts for the entire US is a recipe for disgruntlement. We have all this manpower over on the FB sites just to sit around and make bundles yet dont know the procedure for installing most of the other equipment this company handles.
