Pros

You can work with different companies and different technologies

Cons

You can be stack working with tasks that product companies do not want to take on themselves, but it again depends on the project. You are also limited by your salary depending on the role and region you are working in. At some point I've been told that my salary is too high for Georgia and they wanted to make it lower.. to get higher salary you need to do something superior and prove that it was superior. And even after I got promotion, I was with the old salary for about 5 months..
