Great People Work Here

Pros

The staff. Everyone is willing to help and takes time to answer questions. The company will also pay for professional certifications (EIT, PE, PMP, etc.) which is a great perk.

Cons

Since it's a smaller company, the benefits aren't always as good as larger companies. Currently no 401k match. Hopefully that will change in the future.

Thank you for your comments! It’s great to hear about your positive experience as part of the ERRG team. I agree with you – we have a wonderful group of people at ERRG who are passionate and enthusiastic about the work they do. As you stated, we are a smaller firm, so when we work together, support one another, and pool our collective resources, we can accomplish great things. Throughout the company, ERRG encourages certifications that maintain and enhance the professional growth of its team members. Professional registration is a must for everyone on our team and we strongly believe that it serves our employees well throughout their career. We will continually strive to be a well-rounded company with a lot to offer. While we can’t compete with all of the offerings at larger firms, we regularly evaluate our benefits package and strive to maintain its value for our employees and their families. Thanks again for the feedback!

Pros

Honest, hardworking people. Senior/regional management seem comprised of honest people who enjoy what they do, and who are long-time industry veterans. I truly like my coworkers and have not yet found any bad apples (hopefully it's not me!).

Cons

1. No company jet. 2. No free McDonalds. 3. I am getting fat because my coworkers constantly bring food to share at work. 4. Our people work hard, but find me a job that isn't tough. 5. If you are looking to make millions, go to Stanford Law School and become a patent attorney.

Thanks for the feedback (and the sense of humor)! I take a lot of pride in building a company that values honesty and integrity. Employees at all levels of the company contribute to ERRG’s longevity and continued success by upholding these core principles. Your advice to management is right on. ERRG will always place health and safety as its highest priority. Also important is fostering a workplace culture that motivates, challenges, and inspires its employees while providing top-notch service to our clients.

Pros

Great learning opportunities in a wide variety of projects from debris cleanup to full scale civil engineering projects. CEO is awesome! IT and Accounting Dept works really hard. HR Dept is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Graphics Dept does amazing stuff. The different office locations supply ERRG with unique identities and experiences.

Cons

Sometimes management cannot retain staff.

Thank you for your review! I love to hear from employees about their positive experience learning and growing at ERRG. As you stated, ERRG offers a wide variety of environmental remediation projects to its employees. This diversity allows our employees to expand their knowledge base while progressing down an exciting career path filled with growth opportunities. I view this as a real strength of ERRG. Nice shout-out to our wonderful corporate departments. I value every member of our team and these folks keep our company running smoothly every day. I am happy to see their hard work is recognized. You are right that employee retention can be difficult, especially in the current climate of extremely low unemployment. This means upper management, including myself, are constantly trying to strengthen ERRG and present it as a well-rounded company with a lot to offer.
