There are no pros. ESS is by far the worst company I have ever worked for.

Cons

Employees are told they are replaceable and are treated like uneducated swine. This company will employ you and then refuse to pay you. They still owe me over $2,000 that they just straight up refuse to pay me. When I questioned them about the money they owe me they threatened to fire me and open an investigation against me. Stay FAR FAR AWAY from this disgusting, greedy, back stabbing company.

They don't stick up for you. Pay is bad. Had to drive out of my district to get better pay. The schools are nice as well as regional directors but the company ESS is not there for you. They are concerned about the school and not you. Hard to get in touch with if there is a problem.

Pros

I really enjoyed the job, I was able to help kids and worked primarily in special education classrooms. I left feeling fulfilled nearly every day.

Cons

Since I was a substitute, I spent every day in a different classroom. At first this was fine, but now I don't have any references to apply for another job and it kind of got lonely after a while. I missed having coworkers that I actually knew. That is the job of a sub though.
