      Less work. No people policy. Further level down for Lateral hires

      Pros

      Life will be chill if you happen to be manager's favorite child. Sky is the limit for you if you know the science of boot licking and if done well (i guess even a bit of it works here)

      Cons

      1. Favoritism 2. Gender biased 3. Nowhere to go if you are bullied at work (Nobody is serious about people policy in the firm) 4. Unless you are from top IIT colleges and very lucky, the quality of work given to you will be bad 5. For lateral hires, not a place to stay for more than a year. A 5-6 years of experienced lateral hire will most likely to have a lesser salary than campus hires. Do not expect much bonus either.
