Pros
EY looks excellent on CV. The people at your own level whom you work with are great. Well recognised client base.
Cons
Unless you are an audit machine with no life or outside interests, save yourself from entering this hell hole of a place. They believe in sucking the souls out of their young graduates by promising them a future, work/life balance and good pay and then take it away from them within the first few weeks of starting their new career. EY drills 'Values' into their employees, a means by which management expect their employees to carry out their work by (e.g. integrity, respect, blah blah..). Whilst most of the young professionals demonstrate these values, you will find it is the management who treat those below them the most disrespect I have ever seen in a company. I will not go into detail but you would certainly not want to be faint hearted. Work hours are never ending and if you do not work late you are told you are not working hard enough. However, when you do work late, you may be pulled up on your supposed inability to complete the work during the normal working day. You cannot win and it is with this argument that the management avoid promoting their staff.
