No ability to discuss or negotiate salaries. Annual raises are not based on performance and tend to be on the low side. Wages are extremely stagnant despite profits growing year-over-year.
Additional responsibilities do not come with additional pay.
Software is never fully developed before entering the sales cycle. Sales team is incentivized to sell at any cost, even if the software is not ready for release. Other teams within the company must pick up the slack and take the heat.
Terrible (or non-existent) on-boarding for new hires.
Rampant unclear/undefined processes in many departments leading to confusion and frustration. "Solutions" to this problem tend to add to the frustration rather than reduce it.
Management cannot be relied upon to uphold promises to employees. Never rely on a verbal promise from your supervisor. Obtain everything in writing.
Company does have some potential for upward mobility, but not nearly as much as managers will lead you to believe. Skills are not generally transferable outside of the company and there is no assistance in regards to certifications or knowledge that will be useful for employees seeking employment elsewhere.
