      Pros

      For the first time in my 25 year career in industry, as a new hire to Eastman I was encouraged to balance my work life and home life. Never before has a company expressed concern for my long term welfare of a balanced life. I've worked several places during my career, and Eastman is head and shoulders above in compensation, recognition, support, training, and encouragement to do the right thing. It is a blessing to be a part of the Eastman Team!

      Cons

      Eastman is a big site, and sometimes it takes a little longer to champion a change or a project than it might at smaller facilities.

      The company offers great pay, competitive benefits and is always making sure they are comparable to their peers in those respects. Management allows for team members to be innovative and encourages everyone to express their views. The job is a challenge and is always pushing you to become a better employee.

      The decision making process can take a little longer than at other companies.

      Pros

      Eastman has a unique culture that sets it apart from competitors. The people truly do make it a great place to work. Most areas offer a flexible work arrangement that is highly attractive to young professionals.

      Cons

      Though Eastman can sometimes be slow to change, great improvements have been made in the recent past to enhance change management. Great talent and succession plans will be key to fulfilling gaps created by an aging workforce population in the near future.
