Pros

GM & AGM reward hard work with promoting from within. You'll see a host become a managers or server grow into a manager role. They also create individual development plans for each manager and have one on ones weekly.

Cons

Wish we had free coffee!

Pros

Highly passionate team!!! I've worked in the Hospitality/Retail industry for almost 20 years and have never worked for a company that does as much for their employees at every level that Eataly does. Growing company with lots of opportunity for those who want it and work for it.

Cons

Every company has its opportunities. New employee onboarding and training could be better.

Pros

Great concept. Great location. Met some awesome people there.

Cons

Way more cons than pros. They say great thing to hire you, then forget about it. Really long hours, they do not care about hospitality, to advance to a new role you need to have an Italian last name or speak Italian. They don’t pay well. Really condescending upper management. Talented people are pushed out. Family meal is gross. Not even free coffee for staff, you need to pay for everything.
