Pros

Working at Elliott Company offers the chance to be part of an industry leader in turbomachinery, with access to significant opportunities for career growth and development. Employees benefit from working on innovative projects within a collaborative and safety-focused environment. The company also provides a competitive benefits package and opportunities for global collaboration, making it a rewarding place to build a career.

Cons

It’s truly disheartening to see the lack of consideration for the well-being and work-life balance of our team. The abrupt shift to a 4-day mandatory office schedule, without any clear rationale or communication, feels like a step backward in an era where flexibility has proven to enhance productivity and employee satisfaction. Mark B’s decision, seemingly made without consulting the team or considering the impact on morale, speaks volumes about the disconnect between leadership and the workforce. This top-down approach erodes trust and shows a disregard for the needs of the very people who drive the company’s success. It’s unfortunate that instead of fostering an environment where employees feel valued and heard, we’re being pushed into a rigid structure that doesn’t reflect the realities of modern work. Retention and recruitment will undoubtedly suffer if this continues, as more employees seek workplaces that respect their time and input. Leadership should remember that respect is a two-way street, and it’s earned through understanding and collaboration, not unilateral mandates.
