Pros

Young atmosphere constant change, and Beer Friday.

Cons

Where to begin: For starters, the 'Logistics Sales Trainee' period is outrageous. 6 months of managers the same age as you making you feel replaceable. The training period is going through rotations for 6 months, doing jobs they don't want to hire actual full time employees for. In short, you upload documents for 6 months and then do one week of sales training and get thrown on the sales floor and are expected to make all these goals when you have very little guidance. The atmosphere is so young that promotions are based on favoritism, not because the person actually deserved it. Communication between departments is terrible, I would even say there is no communication period. The pay is horrible and not competitive to other Logistic companies in Chicago. The only way they make up for wasting 6 months of your life is bringing in beer on Fridays mid-afternoon.

Pros

It is a young and energetic atmosphere. OK job out of school but it will get old fast once you finish the 4-month training program (which is pretty nice). They take you out to Chicago for the first two weeks (all expenses paid).

Cons

After the orientation phase in Chicago it all goes downhill. You go through several tedious rotations that require you to call and track shipments for about 4 months. I think they are revamping the training because it is pointless and wasteful at times.
