Pros

Trying to make the difference in the lives of foster children

Cons

Low pay, does NOT give any type of raises (not even for yearly inflation), no bonuses, you have to take an "alternative holiday" (a day off within 30 days of working a holiday) instead of getting time and half for holiday pay, they don't give wage differentials for night or weekend shifts yet their Executive's Salaries range from over $70K (secretary) up to almost $800K (CEO/President) a year (with bonus's for meeting goals even though these goals are causing more trauma to the children in care).
