Pros

Nice building; GREAT PEOPLE (for the most part); flexible work hours; benefits on par with other small tech cos. Great mission and service to the working class at large.

Cons

It's kind of a hybrid fin tech/non-prof culture which could be one of the problems. The biggest red flag is leadership: there isn't any. From product to HR to the CEO himself, leadership is seriously lacking. Too many at the top have been with co since inception - they don't know how to truly build and scale a company. The culture which used to be good I hear, is dead. FE just bought another company and the merging of the two is rocky at best. Seriously, do not work here. I recommend it to no one.

Nice people. Great mission. Good opportunity.

Cons

Engineering team is pretty weak. Morale has been pretty low because of confused strategy. Sales driven culture has created compromises in product.
