Pros

Smart individual people. Good benefits. Don’t have to work that hard and no accountability, if that appeals to you. Some positions have a higher salary for the same expectations than in the normal world.

Cons

No strong or visionary leadership. CEO is afraid to rock the boat, even with known obvious issues. If there are obstacles, you have to work around it, as brave decisions are not made, Yes, we have gone to HR and management, that will be the response. Not everyone is cut out to be a people leader, but that is tolerated here.

Pros

You can use your skills to advance a level of analysis for clients but that's it. You get the sense that you're important and that your ideas matter, but they won't really amount to anything as management is very closed-minded with concepts and development.

Cons

The salary is low compared to other firms and the benefits and healthcare are also poor. There is basically no HR so don't expect any issues to be managed in a timely matter, if at all. The managers are set in their ways and don't listen to the ideas of their subordinates, even if the ideas could be beneficial to the company. EE is set on trying to impress the parent company, Edison International, that they fail to see the areas where they are lacking or missing key concepts to be a great company.
