      Pros

      Edison Energy employs some of the most talented subject matter experts in the market. They provide advisory services always thinking about what is best for the customer. It is refreshing not to have to push our own individual projects or technologies, but rather focus on what the customer needs and deliver independent guidance on those needs. Personally, Edison Energy has provided me great opportunities for career growth, and Edison has a track-record of really rewarding the people who deliver for them.

      Cons

      As with any relatively young company, there are growing pains. Most of this is related to internal processes and not anything that is customer-facing. They are definitely improving.

      Ability to make an impact. At Edison Energy I work with some of the largest companies in the world to help them tackle sustainability goals through renewable energy and analytics. This job lets me work within these companies in a truly impactful way. Great clients, and great coworkers. Strong, collaborative team environment Business outlook for Edison Energy services is only growing

      Consulting work can be demanding. This isn't a 9-5 job

      Worst Career Move You Can Make

      Pros

      Zero accountability and nice view from the office.

      Cons

      Soul-crushing dead-end career, Incompetent management and sales team that continues to lose millions yet somehow gets to keep their jobs. Extreme politics supersedes responsibilities and accountability. Littered with very very unqualified individuals with bloated titles and salary.
