Pros

Very dynamic company, great product and successful business model.

Cons

The culture is "drink the Kool-Aid or leave." Must be willing to put Company above everything else, never question senior management or provide constructive criticism. Senior Management has a very "elitist" attitude. Play the 'blame game' and will use middle management as the scape goat. Similar to Allergan culture - if you that environment is for you, you will do well.

Pros

Worked here 15 years. Edwards is very old-school. They consider themselves to be innovative but they are stuck in the 1950s where they want butts in seats in the office every day all day with no flexibility. Many valued employees have been recruited away to companies that pay just as well, have great perks, and allow flexibility regarding where and when to work. They let their best people slip away with no attempt to retain them.

Cons

No flexibility when it comes to work life balance. The HR department does not care about the rank-and-file employees.

Pros

Benefits are great, such as medical and vision Stocks are discounted and 401k match is great great educational programs

Cons

Management likes kiss a** people and will only promote if you are suuuuper sweet to the manager/director Pay is uneven even when your senior works poorly and you have to help them out Seat time is big, even if the upper management doesn't say it to your face, its very important to have seat time here to get anything You can fully take care of the duties of position above you and function for that and still not get the promotion based on how much you have sucked up to the boss Work Life balance is their motto, except, there is none. You never work just 40 hours a week. Never.
