      Exciting space Accelerating consolidation in this space Good VC money Interesting problems to solve

      Cons

      Inconsistent and arbitrary leadership style. Autocratic decision making from the top. A high level of executive and engineering churn over the last year points to an unsettled management team and style. While the product was quite bad and has improved this year, there's still a lot that needs to be done. But the biggest issue I see is that the management team plays favorites. If you're one of the favored ones life is good, but for the rest of us, it's a thankless slog.

      Nothing is good here except for the payment.. if they feel they can offer good package and we need to work 24/7 for Egnyte only and doesn't bother about our families or personal time.. they need to re-evaluate their culture as they say "you are not fit for EGNYTE's culture " and can terminate you immediately without any discussion. They would never prove their allegations and wouldn't allow us to explain our side of things. There's a lot many things.. worst culture so far.

      1. No KTs will be provided.. if you are a senior you are expected to understand everything on your own and take ownership with in few days of joining. 2. Team wouldn't be ready to support or help you understand things at Egnyte. 3. No proper work assignment, they don't understand how a team should work in a kanban or a sprint.. just blind assignments and false pressure to finish things which leads to day/night unsettled pressure. 4. You cannot voice out or cannot explain your side of things when there are allegations made on you.. YOU NEED TO ACCEPT EVERYTHING AND APOLOGIES FOR WHAT EVER THEY ASK TOU FOR EVEN THOUGH IT IS IRRELEVANT. Only with a mindset of the above can work as it you would face this situation for sure. Biased management and surprisingly the HR also wouldn't listen to your side of the story. GREAT EGNYTE CULTURE as they call 10PM IST AS LATE EVENING rather than night.

      The direct teams were great; team lunches, nice working environment, contribution towards gym.

      Cons

      No care towards employees during pandemic. Cut jobs across the board globally whilst still increasing revenue... all the comments below are true so no need to reiterate them. It was a great company when I was headhunted by them but when management started to change, so did the culture. We were all booked to go to SKO and then it was decided to have roadshows, so that the executive team could spend more time with the teams globally... poorly executed and the CEO had little interaction with anyone other than his phone during this time... no leadership from the front. Bullish management style that stopped you looking forward to going into the office. Luckily some WFH all the time, due to reporting lines elsewhere in the world and avoided it. Again, there was never any leadership from the front.
