One of the biggest positives for me was the great people and company culture. Unlike bigger companies, it's easy to get to know coworkers from different departments. They do a great job in hosting events and welcoming all people of different backgrounds. It was awesome to work on a diverse amount of projects and ship it to end users. If you're experienced, like a challenge, and want to make an impact, Egnyte is a great opportunity for that.

For me as a developer, one of the most interesting aspects of working for Egnyte has been the range of projects I have had the freedom to work on. Even as a relatively new hire I had ability to pick up and become the owner of various pieces. It is often fairly quick to see tasks I have worked on materialize into improved system performance / resolved customer issues. In terms of culture I would characterize the environment as pretty relaxed. My coworkers are helpful and I have learned a lot of things from some of the more senior people that I work closely with. HR plans a few fun events every months and some interest based groups have organically developed. Admin has stuck to their guns about maintaining a cash flow positive business while chasing higher growth and have been broadly successful in hitting their goals over the past few years I have worked here.
