      Pros

      I frankly did expect that Egnyte will be such a great place to work! The best thing here are the people - friendly, helpful and really fun to work with. I also really like that it's a startup but which is managed in a stable way that gives you confidence that your job is safe here and that things will only get constantly better. The tech stack is really big in every way and gives you a lot of opportunities to learn and make things better (as of now 100+ engineers working on tens of apps in Java, Python, Goland, deployed in 3 physical datacenters + cloud, a lot of automation and great use of open source).

      Cons

      As this is >10 years old tech company it does have some legacy tech which is a pain. Some architectural decisions are not pretty. Some people are still working "the old way".

      Pros

      Egnyte is a hot startup in the enterprise cloud storage + data governance solutions sector. The company appreciates individual input and effort its employees put into shaping the products and their quality.

      Cons

      Sometimes it takes a bit long to make technical progress within the product. Need to deal with legacy code and lack of automation in certain areas (there's lots of room for improvement, on the other hand!)
