Worst public accounting firm ever

I was lucky enough to have a mentor that actually cared about teaching and filing returns that were accurate.

Cons

Terrible work environment. No focus on growing within (just keep acquiring a bunch of old school/non-paperless firms). Salary sucks. No incentive like other public accounting firms to stay and work long hrs (extra PTO, bonuses, good benefits....nope none of it). Basically you make less than minimum wage when all is said and done (oh and you have to dress up and be in the office EVERY DAY).

Some nice people, good perks and resources.

Cons

Partners and senior managers seem to put earnings. They have little interest in developing the careers of the newer hires. Trainers are to busy to properly train.
