      Pros

      Great people that I worked with. The pay was good for a starting accounting salary in the FM area

      Cons

      0 training or help. You basically go in and have to sink or swim. Most days it felt like I was barely treading water. You end up leaning on coworkers a lot which can be frustrating on both you and them, until you start to connect the dots on how everything works.

      Pros

      Great people to work with and a great culture. Appreciated for long hours in tax season. Most of the partners are very friendly.

      Cons

      It could be better pay. Raises don't happen very often. Not sure if it is as competitive as they would have you believe.

      Great benefits package, competitive salary to the local area. Culture fit is huge. If you're working hard, it will get noticed.

      Cons

      If you aren't a CPA, no matter your skill set or potential revenue, you answer to the will of the CPA leadership. Stated business strategy doesn't often mash up with reality.
