El pollo loco is a good company to grow with in. You learn so much in administration, food safety, customer service, running your own shifts.

Cons

It's very demanding for organizations. Always something to do. Sometimes need to save labor. Work many position.

Pros

not much pros, besides given the opportunity to make some money to pay the bills.

Cons

Management does not know how to run the place, too many people doing what they are not suppose to be doing. No one takes their jobs seriously. Pathetic management structure and rules set by management.

Pros

Some coworkers are nice, learned to handle doing many things at once.

Cons

DONT WORK HERE. ITS NOT WORTH IT. I have had it with the managers and whoever is up there in the company. It was fine at first but my manager tricked me with a fake sense of security. She came off as nice and understanding at first, which I notice she does to all new employees, but after a while it all changes. You're expected to learn little bits of everything-- with no raise. You get horribly overworked, unless you're a male cashier. Everything is messy disorganized and sadly the general manager is the worst. After a while I learned to see how she really is. She snaps at her empoyees, always puts them down for the smallest things and just brings bad vibes. She encourages us to skip school so we could make it to work. I many times gave her my school schedule so she could know when I'm busy or free and she never cared to look at it. You can't even talk to her about a schedule problem or change because she will give you attitude and not listen to anything you have to say. It's sad because the assistant manager and the shift leaders are all so understanding and humble but how is it that the highest one is the worst? Without your employees you would literally have nothing so treat them with some respect and hear them out. We have lives outside of this so that needs to be understood.
