Pros

Amazing learning environment for engineers. Total ownership of projects. Build-to-order, constantly evolving project based work. Challenging and fun. Engineers are empowered to make decisions. Zero bureaucracy. Very flexible work environment. Generous CEO.

Cons

Every coin has two sides. The vertical responsibility and freedom that engineers enjoy has the downside of creating an environment that's a bit chaotic. It can also spur conflict as and two disagreeing parties can be empowered in opposite directions.
