Pros

You are given a lot freedom and flexibility to get a job done. There is minimal bureaucracy. The engineer also installs the equipment, meaning they get to do domestic and international travel.

Cons

During project crunch there are long working hours.

Great Place To Work

Pros

The company culture is very good. A lot of personal responsibility and freedom. Engineers are encouraged to build their own designs and see it through from design all the way to installation at the customer site. Amazing coworkers. Very friendly and always helpful. Maybe a few bad eggs in the whole company. Great environment for well rounded growth opportunities, especially for newer engineers. Good work-life balance. Very little pressure to put in crazy hours.

Cons

Lack of rigid structure can be tough for some to handle. Salaries tend to be a little low for starting engineers.

Pros

Lots of opportunities to learn and try things. Flexible work schedule. You get to build the things you design. Benefits package is great, pay is ok too.

Cons

Management is at times unpredictable.
