Pros

With regards to an over all intern experience, electroimpact offers a great program that will get interns to hit the ground running and work on meaningful and increadibly relevant tasks that offer a unique experience rarely found elsewhere in engineering internship programs. It is a very hands-on, insightful learning environment that allows for interns to really engage with industry and take away a great deal of practical skills and knowledge that can help facilitate opportunities in a wide variety of fields.

Cons

Engineering Intern pay is on the low side, however, what they don't deliver to you with regards to pay, will undoubtably be made up for in the experience gained through working.

Pros

- Unparalleled freedom as an engineer to learn, design, and apply that knowledge - Large pool of knowledge to draw from - Access to cutting edge technology - After poor pay for new hires, good benefits and eventually very competitive pay. - 401(k) and cash profit sharing

Cons

- Non-supportive, sometimes combative work environment - Frequent interruption from bigoted management - No emphasis on professional conduct or reasonable communication and collaboration - Very little support for new and developing engineers

Pros

Many friendly people. High freedom in customizing work schedule. Easy access to whatever tools you need. Good healthcare and IRA benefits.

Cons

Don't expect to be treated as anything but an asset unless you make friends high up the ladder. Salary is low. "White" lies to customers are acceptable as long as you don't get caught.
