Pros

I have been with EA for over two years and can still proudly say this is one of the best places to work for. EA provides great benefits and perks. We have state of the art gym, beautiful campus, day care, and Starbucks on site.

Cons

I often find out about what's going on inside EA from reading the news. I feel like there are too many cooks in the kitchen.

Pros

The salaries seem good for the game industry. There's a fair amount of stability and maturity in the Sims Division (most of former Maxis).

Cons

While I was there, the non-Maxis part was in a bit of an upheaval. There was a bit of power grabbing going on at the time - at one point, I realized my main purpose was to help my manager justify greater head count.

Pros

EA has great people which makes it a great place to work. It also has awesome facilities and a good benefits package.

Cons

The accounting and finance systems have many issues and make it difficult to obtain data quickly. The system issues are driven by poor communication & involvement across the user communities (100% preventable).
