Pros

The pay, benefits and hours are desirable. The PACE model of care is one employees believe in.

Cons

Poor management. A toxic, negative environment in which to work. No support for the employees, and chronically short staffed.

Pros

Work/life balance is valued, model of care is a great theory and gives you a sense of giving back to a community of people that really need your help, great providers who genuinely care about their cases and the outcomes

Cons

management is unaccountable/pretentious/pretty much absent from the forefront, little discipline/action taken when it's obvious there should be, not much mentoring, very disorganized culture

Pros

Great home/work life balance. Competitive base pay with great opportunity to make even money with after-hour visits. Management recognizes those hard working staff members.

Cons

A few staff members can be negative where nothing ever makes them happy. You could pay them $1million a year to work 1 hour per day and they'd still complain.
