Pros
Some of the best people I've ever worked with, who believe in the PACE mission. The mission of the PACE model is fabulous. The benefits package is good. Patient population is at risk/underserved so if your passion is working with those folks it is a good place to be.
Cons
Ever increasing focus on expenditures causing organization to lose sight of mission. Ever increasing expectations of staff. Poor planning for large capital projects. Management does not think about patient experience when planning major changes. Patient population high needs/high risk. Not enough staff appreciation which is warranted given the high risk of burn out.
