Understaffed, underpaid, unappreciated

Some of the staff members are nice

Where to start? Ever since the buyout of Exova Element has went completely downhill. I guess that’s what happens when you buy a failing competitor and take on their rules and regulations. Staff are extremely unhappy and morale is at an all time low. More than half of the workforce are actively looking for a new job. Staff are loaded with responsibilities that were not in their job description with no mention of a pay rise or bonus. The bonus scheme is worked in a way that no one will ever receive this in the current market! I would not recommend working here to anyone it’s the equivalent of a sweat shop

Pros

Good customer network Co-workers are great, many are friends Testing processes are interesting and engage your curiosity

Cons

Management seems to have stopped caring about employees and their future The overall corporate culture seems to be changing to a method of setting goals just out of reach so there is no reward for regular employees The pressures are now unhealthy and many managers make it quite clear there is no team atmosphere since many of them are in self preservation mode. People are generally unhappy and don’t know how to fix things
