Pros

There is a generous amount of PTO and holiday time off is separate from PTO. The health benefits are o.k. and what really makes a difference with the health benefits are the credits you can earn for being healthy. Great work at home opportunities. Flexible hours.

Cons

I can't think of any. The only reason I gave four stars and not five is because I know there is no perfect work place even if I am unaware of the imperfections.

Pros

union - probably the only branch (Dearborn Mi) in the company

Cons

Customer service(aka intake) has gone from 12 employee's 4 years ago to 5 (2 are on perpetual FMLA due to stress ) same as the other departments , all severely shorthanded) and rarely hire . Reading all the other reviews from the various locations it seems like company policy , favoritism , heavy workload , outdated PC system and programs , hiring process took 2 months , finally got a face to face interview , not only with the manager of the dept applied to but with all the managers at the same time , very intimidating . This location brings out the worst in their employee's . I never have given a bad review to any company , restaurant etc . but feel I must warn against working in this toxic environment .

Pros

Team of clinical staff is stellar. The Manager Kasey S. and her supervisors were excellent. The job itself is very rewarding and challenging. I would definitely recommend this position.

Cons

The expectations are high, but that is also a good thing. The lack of current and updated provider finders for Anthem is weak, leaving staff to call out to confirm availability which takes away resource time to be available for incoming calls.
