This position is mentally draining and TCs can’t even take time off properly. They have to call out just to get a mental break. As long as Carelon had this contract, TCs have been exempt yet they still have to use PTO for technical problems, even if they work a half day. Now TCs that are not licensed have been kicked to non exempt. Now they are being told if you don’t have a license, then basically, you call out, you get written up. But not the licensed TCs! How is that fair. This job is draining. Can’t get adequate time off unless it’s months ahead and most if the time it still gets denied.

WARNING! Elevance recently rolled out a computer and employee tracking monitor on company provided equipment. You have to log time if you are away from your computer for more than 15 minutes including lunch breaks. Micromanaging x 10.
