Pros

Reasonably good pay...until you get blindsided by a RIF.

Cons

Completely dysfunctional company with no reason for existing other than to line the pockets of management with stock options via their annual bonus program. Elevance doesn't care about its employees, its customers or the providers they interact with. RIF's happen monthly and are nonsensical at best. This company is DOOMED. DO NOT attempt to work here - you'll be SORRY. This company is circling the drain, it's just a matter of time before it implodes.

Pros

Benefits and PTO are decent

Cons

The Do the Right Thing" motto only applies if the manager you are working with is highly valued. They they do whatever they want without consequences.

Pros

I’ve been able to expand my experience with a masters & license in Social Work. I work remotely and have lucked up to have great managers who care about my career goals. I’m able to flex my time with permission if I have to go to an appt or do school pick up. The case load was heavy but we were building out the program so we were able to give very detailed feedback about realistic expectations. It’s still corporate so the company will make decisions based on company financial status. EH is going through a lot of structural changes & depts are being eliminated meaning there are layoffs. Typically, the will provide severance & help you get placed in other depts. The work is rewarding but the changes recently can make you worry about job stability.

Cons

Current (started 2023-continuing 2024) structure changes; layoffs; frequent changes in responsibility structures
