      1. Building AI in healthcare is harder than in tech because of HIPAA, PII, and safety/bias constraints. 2. Elevance sits on petabytes of claims data, clinical notes, and interaction logs. 3. Big corporations have deep pockets for compute and enterprise contracts.

      Cons

      1. Healthcare is risk-averse. Getting a new model or agent approved likely involves Legal, Compliance, and Security reviews that can take weeks. 2. Elevance (like all insurers) runs on ancient mainframes and legacy databases. 3. "Hallucinations" in healthcare are a liability.

      Everything about working there is a con. Back to back phone calls ALL DAY, which is fine but they listen to all your calls, which is fine but if you do not sound like a robot and go one word off of script even is someone is crying or yelling you get written up. You cannot have sympathy.
