      Pros

      It's a job for you to pay your bills.

      Cons

      Anthem took over Simply Healthcare Plans and Clear Health Alliance both plans does not have diversity, they only hire Spanish speaking employees. The company has a lot of favoritism they pay people they like more. The work is overwhelming for the pay, management is very micro managed and bias. You cannot move up in the company its only for who they like.

      Pros

      Great pay, nice benefits, nice parking, great food, very nice coworkers. Some work at home opportunities and also overtime is always available.

      Cons

      Confrontational management, absolutely no training, old building, no privacy when it comes to personal matters. We are yelled at by management on a weekly basis. Made to feel like children that are being spanked. I have been here 4 months and I am already applying out for a new job.

      Pros

      I believe this is a company that treats people of all races, nationalities, and gender equally. The pay is good and promotions are available. I am able to work at home with very little manager interaction (unless I ask for it). That is not the case in all areas but it is in my area.

      Cons

      Throughout my 10+ years at Anthem I have worked with bad managers that never promoted and with great managers that believe in promoting their employees is important. If you work at Anthem and you are not happy with your current job or manager or even pay, look for another job within Anthem because there are good areas and not so great area. Overall I have been thrilled with my time at Anthem.
