Pros

Everyone I met during onboarding were very nice and knowledgeable about the platform and how things worked. I felt supported throughout the entire process, even when I started teaching and encountered issues. Curriculum is given to you.

Cons

The interview process was almost too easy, I didn't get asked about my experience or how I handled experiences with students, coworkers, experience with technology. It was basically explaining the slides in my own words. (I view this as a con.) Communication is somewhat to be desired between the school and the platform. Many times in my school we were not informed about planned school-wide testing or if the coach was out. Not sure if there were any expectations or accountability. Many times I sat trying to teach a handful of students with very limited communication since the coach wasn't there. Curriculum sometimes feels like it was written by someone who hasn't taught the content. Links are broken sometimes. Took over a month after onboarding for me to get a class assigned to me; first come, first served. After getting that 1 class, I received very few offers. You have to apply for reciprocity if you're teaching out of the state you live in. They reimburse you but it takes a lot of time. Software is very glitchy. I lost an entire class period after I started a QZ. I couldn't view or communicate with my class after it ended. I learned the hard way that some teachers end their classes with them.
