There are a variety of job opportunities within Elwyn, they are supportive of the employees, benefits are pretty good, they as an agency, want things done the right way.

Cons

Being a non profit agency, the pay makes it difficult to support a family, and pay bills.

Pros

Honestly there aren't any pros in my opinion. But if I had to list one, there is the opportunity to work a lot of overtime shifts.

Cons

Elwyn could not care less about their employees. We are nothing more than bodies to fill the shifts. Direct care staff has not received a raise in years. The contract is still being "negotiated". Most importantly, they do not care about the consumers they serve. The houses are falling apart and there are no activities for the consumers to participate in. The consumers are sadly a means of revenue for the company.

You do not need to be very educated. People push the blame to others so your never accountable.

Cons

You won't grow. Poor salaries, people in upper management poor. Do not care about clients or staff.
