Pros

you will get hired quickly because they are always looking for new employees. The pay is so low, that the employees they have always leave for higher pay somewhere else.

Cons

as an "Average Joe", you are expected to perform duties a registered nurse or at the very least a CNA is expected to do! Your lively hood is on the line at all times. If you fill a consumers glass halfway instead of all the way to top you will be investigated and possibly fired. Your co-workers will be ignorant and lazy as well. The pay is so low, you will be better off working at Walmart! Good Luck To You!

The consumers are endearing and they make everyday interesting. There is a strong union for those who are non-exempt.

Cons

The management style from the top down is outdated and there is no room for innovation to create real impact on the population being served at the agency.

MANAGEMENT is a joke.....they don't give a damn about the consumers...all politics....If you don't kiss-ass and suck up to Supervisors and PD don't think about advancing....longtime employees are lazy, trifline, and push off their work on PRN's and New employees......
