Pros

Open, friendly environment. Not overly formal, it was possible to talk to colleagues and managers on all levels. Benefits are fair.

Cons

Changes in the health care industry has made planning and decision making volatile and constantly changing.

Pros

We have a gym in the building and great views from the 55 water st office. Telecommuting 1 or 2 days a week is becoming more common.

Cons

Data here is poorly organized. Multiple Data Bases from before the merger. Bureaucracy could be reduced.

Pros

1. Learnt a lot about healthcare system 2. Made friends in some of my colleagues

Cons

Saying this place was like working in hell on earth is not an overstatement: 1. Bad pay and raises in pay are pathetic. 2. No chance for advancement as there is way too much politics and false promises. Build your expectations and deliver nothing. 3. Political landscape is like a mine field. So much back stabbing and put downs. Wasn't unusually for several of the seniors to come out of the managers office crying. 4. Management is a group of crazy, toxic individuals who have no idea on how to manage anyone effectively or create a productive environment. 5. Managers don't back you up at all and don't support any growth and development. They pretend like they have no idea what is going on and act surprised and taken back by the above. 6. Trap applicants who have just gotten out of college so that they are stuck because this is their first job. 7. Managers take micro management to another level. Everyone is watching you and waiting to throw you under the bus. Most of the people that I knew who worked here don't work here anymore. There place is like a revolving door. There are much better places to work out there. Give yourself options and apply to as many places as you can.
