Pros

The people I worked with were great

Cons

There were a lot of changes due to company downsizing. It became chaotic and very frustrating to work there. They had a new system with a lot of bugs. Almost every day something went wrong. It was very very stressful.

Pros

The company as a whole is great to work for, benefits and pay are good.

Cons

First of all, they tried to rename this position and it is now under Regulatory Specialist. Unless they remove leaders of this clinic. They are not going to see any change. There is no amount of money or changing of the name that would make me come back to this place. I worked for the Health at Work (health clinic on Western Avenue in Albany, New York), which is part of EmblemHealth. My advice for anyone looking for a job at this clinic is that for your own sanity you stay far away from it. I was only there for 3 months and at only 2 weeks in I was looking for a new position elsewhere. I realized quickly that this place was a highly toxic environment full of constant negativity. No matter how hard I worked and did what they wanted me to do, my ideas were shot down. Even though they were told on multiple occasions that they had an employee there who was smoking pot and even wreaked of it when they came back in from their break, they did nothing about it , even with complaints from clients. I strive on good customer service and had to assist in reception a few times and at that time the receptionists were not quite friendly and they overheard conversations with how I treated clients on the phone and apparently didn't like that. I was respectful and courteous so they made up of fake complaint from a client in which the office manager at the time took it upon herself to actually take me into an office and tell me about it. That's not the kind of person I am, but I understood at that point what kind of people they were. They have been trying to hire someone for this position and a couple of other positions at that clinic for 2 years. One of them plus the newly named regulatory specialist positions were filled not even 2 months ago and now they are both available again. That should tell you something.
