Middle management is a joke

Pros

Great PTO, competitive salary, work from home, 401K.

Cons

Too many cooks in the kitchen with too many opinions. Lots of time wasted on meetings, and 'hurry up and wait' projects. Middle management has no clue and seems to kame up stuff as they go along which takes its toll on the peons, hence the high turnover rate.

Pros

Relaxed dress-code, 401K match, employee resource teams to give the general appearance of being heard.

Cons

Optics are more valued than employee morale, with a type of VIP club mentality in upper management. There is a culture of members of the management team looking out for one another and not being accountable. As a result, there is a high turnover rate of newer employees who are used to more professional environments. Most people aren't comfortable with or even privy to how they may be able to voice their issues to human resources.
