Extremely low pay-compared to other employers in the area. I've had two coworkers quit over the toxic work environment, and two were "let go", a third was hired in at XYZ salary and some time into his employment they lowered it, causing him to have to get a second job.

Pay is not equivalent to similar jobs at other institutions, extremely political/bureaucratic, favoritism shown to certain people/departments and they are given more flexible options for work arrangements, minimal paid time off for maternity leave and no paid time off for other parents, extremely low pay increases each year that do not keep up with cost of living.
