Benefits! Great time off, excellent 401k, and an affordable health plan. Also love the students!

Cons

Embry-Riddle used to be a great place to work. Now there is an atmosphere of distrust and fear of speaking your mind. Management claims that they want that to change, but they don't actually. Anyone who doesn't go out of their way to shine is forgotten. Also, there's no room for job growth.

The benefits are extensive (Medical, dental, paid leave time, tuition, conferences, and more). This is a great opportunity for anyone seeking to advance their education.

Cons

The Worldwide Campus has a very different culture from the University campus. The Worldwide leadership is driven by recruitment numbers and many department heads are eager to please. The lack of student interaction makes the work environment feel much more corporate than university. Opportunity for advancement is limited and pay raises are low.

Free tuition for self and dependents, summer hours, academic setting

Too many "managers" and "directors"; you won't be able to take courses because they overload you with work; only the higher-ups get to enjoy the perks; very "clique-oriented" ; management's priority is protecting their jobs; this is a for-profit business masquerading as an educational institution
