Pros

travel, trade shows, flexible hours; co-workers were fun

Cons

Home office has no idea what's going on satellite offices; DO NOT go to HR for anything (even if you hear manager say he's going to go home and "smoke a bowl" in his garage). You will be flagged, terminated or downsized as a "problem employee," even if you're working in a hostile environment where management constantly badmouths other employees AND his/her hierarchy; expensive insurance for families; top-heavy management while worker bees (especially sales) don't get paid on time or get raises; running too lean while staff is over-worked in preparation to sell company; painful work culture where everyone walks on eggshells waiting to be let go

Pros

The interview and hiring process was thorough. All details of the job and the company's expectations were explained. The management teams are friendly and you feel welcomed immediately. The pros definitely include the upbeat corporate culture and welcoming nature of all employees. The office environment is bright, the employees are friendly and there is an open door policy with all. As a new employee (2 months), I already feel like a part of the family.

Cons

There needs to be a training process in place, whether you come with experience or not. A training and development process over the first 90 days will help each new hire really adapt to the companies processes and will eliminate unnecessary errors.

We're glad to hear the interview and hiring process was smooth, and that you continue to have a positive experience in your role and with your local team. Our CEO has shared in recent Town Halls that training for our sales and marketing teams will be a priority in the coming year and for the future. We agree with you that new hire training is important. Thank you for taking a moment to provide your feedback.

Pros

Good for entry level employees to get exposure to the events industry. Also they do a 401k match.

Cons

The company's sole focus is on numbers. Nothing else matters...employees don't matter, customers don't matter, and it seems that even the events don't matter anymore. The work culture is toxic and there is a strong "boys club" dynamic. Constant fire drills due to poor management.
