Pros

Excellent benefits; employee friendly; involved management; feedback through annual reviews; competitive salary; opportunity for advancement; customer focused; open-door policy with upper management.

Cons

Large infrastructure sometimes makes approvals for change and innovation a slow process; top heavy in management ranks; minimal entry level positions and training programs.

Pros

After doing a good job I would hear from several people about their satisfaction with my work. There are plenty of people willing to hand over work if you are willing to find them.

Cons

Management doesn't seem concerned about the employees very much just budgets and sticking to them. When it comes to defending or fighting for an employee they are lacking.

Pros

Great company with seemingly great opportunities. Pay is good at HQ, but not most of the branches.

Cons

Very conservative and cheap. Most of management has been here 30 years and are inflexible. Little value and importance is placed on families and life outside of work. The expectation is you are married to Emerson. Corporate environment is huge turn off to ambitious, young professionals.
