Pros

Emory has a great benefits package with generous time off, tuition reimbursement, good medical plans, etc. I feel encouraged to learn and grow professionally.

Cons

Sometimes you feel like you are part of a large, complex bureaucracy that is slow to evolve or change. Changes are slow. Implementation of new technology has been slow. Some employees do not pull their share of the work. Management seems to have some trouble enforcing high standards with all of their employees.

The pay was decent but not enough to endure the mental stressors.

Cons

Admin was known amongst floor technicians, diagnostic techs, and front end to have bullying qualities. The work constantly changed or adjusted to more tasks and duties however the pay was never adjusted. Mgt is not genuine and ultimately encourages techs to simply “coral the cattle” for the numbers vs giving real earnest care.
