Pros

None - this is a typical hospital environment.

Cons

There needs to be a major market adjustment for all employees for pay. Emory Healthcare is losing employees left and right because of failure to compensate. It is common for tenured employees to complain about their pay and small merit increases. There are minimal opportunities for advancement.

Pros

I make my own schedule because I am PRN. I get healthcare as a PRN employee (but it is very expensive).

Cons

My performance does not matter. As a PRN employee, I will get a raise whenever Emory decides the PRN rate should be increased. I have worked for them throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. No raise. However, I did just get an email that my already expensive healthcare plan will be increasing by 20%. Also, they just received the Magnet Certification. This award is given in part because the facility has "satisfied nurses". I don't see that. Many nurses are leaving and the ones who I've talked to are not happy with their pay.
