Pros

Benefits Current Supervisor -- supportive, good communicator (for the most part) Co-workers are great Opportunities for movement within the organization (after 6 mos.)

Cons

Unable to negotiate salary at hire Despite the fact the a low to mid-range is advertised for the positions, hiring managers cannot offer the even the mid-range to a new hire - doesn't seem ethical Time required in current position before being able to move to another one that more closely matches skills and experience Hiring process wasn't very smooth; HR seemed unprepared for the onboarding/frustrating Some policies unnecessarily rigid/discourages creativity in some functions

Pros

This is a great highly ranked private research university. Opportunities are here for motivated people; top leadership is great, well intended, fair, and genuine. If you are coming here to loaf and lead the entitled life, don't; this is a place that expects commitment and performance

Cons

It is a large organization, so if you like small employers, this might not be the place for you.It is in Atlanta, and traffic is an issue for commuters.

Pros

Great opportunity for emoployee growth and promotion, stable employer, etc..Good networking.

Cons

HR/management does not offer a lot of information or seem that knowledgeable or helpful on simple things like getting an employee ID ,as a whole, not very quick in being able to set up all the basics: access, employee number, etc.
