Pros

Good retirement plan despite minimum age increase from 50 to 55. Great courtesy scholarship plan For my job in particular, no one day is the same as the last. Lots of variety helps to develop a strong skill set.

Cons

Hard to advance in career. Benefit cut backs.

Faculty and staff assistance resourcs, emory mentor program, toastmasters, other professional development events, seminars, programs.

Cons

Political BS, favoritism, poor leadership/management from local manager, lack of communications within department, job security attitudes, no leadership, vision, or directions from management, lack of properly manager and professionalism from manager.

Pros

Very supportinve environment. I greatly enjoyed my time at Emory University. Benefits are fantastic and it is great to support such a great organization

Cons

Pay is extremely low in Human Resources. Officer level Management is not always supportive of new initiatives or going the extra mile.
